Noch einmal Abraham und Segantini:  Über eine Fehlleistung Abrahams
(S. 24–39)

Summary: Once more Abraham and Segantini: About an omission of Abraham´s. This article on Abraham´s book about Segantini focuses mainly on the father-son-relationship. Abraham postulated a totally negative relationship of Segantini towards his father and no existence of fatherly promoters. Above all, he did not mention the most important person for the development of the painter, namely Vittore Grubicy, his agent, patron and mentor, except the rift with him at the end. The author regards this omission as a parapraxis of Abraham´s. She supposes that Abraham did not write about the importance of Grubicy for Segantini, because it unconsciously reminded him of his relationship to Freud. When Freud also began to write about a painter, Leonardo da Vinci, a race somehow started between Abraham and Freud. This is illustrated on the basis of their correspondence.
